LA Casita Mexican Restaurant in Springville

I have been to Mexico too much to consider this authentic Mexican food. Some dishes aren’t bad. The building is old and the old carpet floor grossed me out. They need a major renovation!

Food is great! Drinks are really good. Service was good. It gets really busy so be prepared to wait. Also parking lot is usually full on busy nights so you might have to park on the street.

My wife and I love coming here for Mexican food. Every time we come home from a trip we get Mexican food, so we swung by La Casita and had an amazing lunch. I got the beef enchilada and cheese chile relleno. So good! So cheesy! The plates are always overflowing with food! Love this place! The chips and salsa are tasty too! The service is always quick and my glass is never empty. I highly recommend La Casita!

Best Mexican food joint in springville. Get here early though. If you come at rush hour you’ll be waiting to get in as it is a very popular place. Once you’ve had it you’ll know why people are willing to wait to get a seat. A small family owned joint in the heart of downtown springville. Chips and salsa are to die for

This restaurant has amazing food! I love Mexican food, and this is definitely my favorite place to go get some. I ordered their 2 tamales dish with rice and a delicious horchata. I enjoyed my meal so much! This is a great place to take a date. 10/10, I want to come back again.

I always go for the 38, which is two pork enchiladas “ranchera” which is a clear/green diced chili sauce with rice and beans. I do not recommend the shredded chicken. If you can’t handle 2, then order a 36 which is the same thing. If you don’t like sour cream ask for none on the top. You are welcome.

I decided to come here after reading their reviews on google and I was not impressed when I walked in it’s wayyyyyy to small. Chips are good salsa has a weird aftertaste not so good . I ordered chicken and shrimp fajitas which were good but the rice ,beans , guacamole and salsa were awful they all had the same weird aftertaste . If the meat was not served in a bowl and on the plate it be easier to eat the rice and beans if they didn’t have the nasty after taste .

This place has thee best shredded beef enchiladas in the world! Covered in tons of cheese with beans and rice on the side.... oh my lawd!!! So tasty

9-26-18, the hostess and waitress were awesome. Chips and Salsa were fine. 3 stars only for the meal. The chicken had zero flavor. The chicken on the taco, enchilada and quesadilla tasted the same. Kind of like it was boiled or broiled then added. The flour tortilla on the quesadilla was not seared or browned, just plain. Other than that, nice atmosphere.

I wish we had one in Salt Lake. This place is the best. Great enchiladas, burritos and margaritas! It is sometimes a long wait to get in, but there is a reason!

We drive down from Salt Lake to have dinner at La Casita, and it's well worth the drive! The rice is the best you'll find and everything is perfectly smothered in cheesy goodness. It's been my favorite restaurant my entire life, and they never disappoint.

I love La Casita. I went there with my parents and one of my four brothers. It was a great place to visit and create more memories to add to my already existing "plethora" of memories.

Great home style Mexican food.

Ive came here ever since i was born. They've always been inviting its pretry fast for being a sit down restaurant and the food is amazing. Never once had a bad time in the 17 years ive been alive.

Don't let the prices scare you. You get the quantity of food you pay for and the quality is just as compensating. From their savory orchata to their freshly made guacamole it's all delicious.

We went here on a recommendation from a friend. We were glad that we went. The food was delicious! The fajitas were great. My daughter liked her burrito. Our friends liked their food as well. It's in a cute old building so I wouldn't recommend a big group as it is a smaller building and the tables are tight. The servers were very friendly and kept our drinks full. The only thing I didn't like was they didn't bring all our food out at once. I got mine about 5 minutes after everyone else at the table. I saw this was happening at other tables as well.

Went on a friend's recommendation, but probably won't go back. The staff was friendly and prompt but the food just wasn't good. Chimichangas should be crispy and so should Chili Rellenos or else WHY batter them and deep fry them,? Both were soggy and the pork filling was dry.

Been going here for almost 20 years and the chips and salsa bowl seems to refill itself when you look away very great environment!

Worst most disgusting food I've ever had. I've been a customer of theirs for years but I will never go again. Bad service as well. Also how can you call some canned tomatoes and a few onions salsa? Thats what they served us and it was disgusting as well as the completely tasteless meat in our food. The burrito was completely wet not just soggy. I regret that I even have to give them one star.

The owners and workers there were super friendly and nice. They didn't hold back on the chips and salsa. The food had a wonderful flavor as well

We ordered takeout and the food really wasn’t great. The chimichangas that we ordered had no distinction.. it was like a regular burrito. We also got chilaquiles where the description mentioned “crunchy chips”. But the chips were really soggy. Decent food, but nothing special. BUT on the other hand, they gave us TONS of tortilla chips and salsa- very grateful for that!

I love the place it exillent, food,environment, you can have a Margareta, if you choose, I took my Mormon 86yr old father,and mother there for father's day. And my dad loved it,mother did also. We drank water. I WAS able to buy a chocolate cake from mgalbys,for10 $ for f a thers day treat.

Came here from a recommendation on the margaritas and had a horrible experience. The margaritas tasted like it had a chemical in it and we ended up not drinking most of them. I got a burrito and the chicken had absolutely no flavor at all - again I didn't finish it. Came in with high hopes and left with nothing for the money we spent. Will definitely not be back or recommend to anyone.

I love this place. Only thing is I wish they were more consistent. Sometimes it's amazing. Other times they get the order wrong or the service isn't as good.

There’s a reason it’s always packed here, because everyone wants to eat their food! I enjoyed the food here, and I have been many times. For large portions, hot, and flavorful food, come here. I do recommend that you either reserve, or come early before you intend to be eating though, because there usually is a line. And if you want a heap of food that’s not on the menu, get the Louis Special! A tostada that’s piled high with meat, cheese, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, and more cheese!

Soooo Yummy! My in-laws love this place. They have great service and accommodating to your needs! It is super busy so if you’re looking for a quite place probably not the place for you. If you’re looking for a fun place for meeting up with friends this is a great place with great food.

The place offers a large variety of fresh food. I enjoy eating here. Staff members are always nice, prices are convenient and the place is always neat.

I used to really enjoy La Casita. However the last few times I've eaten here the food was poor. My last few trips to the restaurant I ordered a beef tostada, Junior Special, and pork burrito. I'm accustomed to our food being hot, fresh, and savory. but lately the food here has been disappointing. All dishes were luke-warm, soggy, and generally flavorless. I hope they can turn it around in the future.

A friend was down from SLC and wanted Mexican food for dinner. We had to order for pick up. Ordered cheese enchiladas which were about as bland as they could be. Came with chips and salsa. There was nothing impressive about this place at all. Won't be back.

I have known about this place for years and have never given it a try until today. Now I kick myself for not getting in sooner. I had the 3 taquitos meal. The taquitos were small but good. The beef was seasoned well. Rice and beans were some of the best I have ever had. The server was very attentive to us and all the help was very friendly. Parking was sufficient. The tables and benches could use some updating but they were good enough. The offer both Coke and Pepsi products which is nice. Definitely will return.

Best mexican restaurant!! Bottomless chips and salsa. Large portions, fill a large plate. They definitely don't skimp on flavor, or portion size.
